In the month of April 2020 I conducted a series of design thinking workshops over Zoom for kids in our school district. It is amazing to see how children sense the context, empathize with others, come up with unique insights and ideate freely. The workshops are part of a fundraiser to support local school district during the current covid19 crisis.
Here is a glimpse of one such session from this weekend. Kids were asked to design masks for their grandparents which can be made at home using material readily available in the household. Simple solutions to the most pressing problem! One of the grandparents loved the design so much that she ended up making the masks for all her family members. How cool is that!! 🙂
